The Gray or Grey Fox (Urocyon cinereoargenteus) are found from southern Canada to northern Venezuela in South America. This species known for its ability to climb trees, which is uncommon in the family Canidae. These canids are omnivores, eating small animals, insects, and fruits. Gray Fox are primarily nocturnal, living in areas of brushy or woodlands of deciduous and pine trees, rocky areas, and urban fringes. Key features include a salt-and-pepper gray coat with reddish flanks and a distinct black-tipped tail, which helps differentiate it from the red fox.
