The American Green Tree Frog (Hyla cinerea) is a small, bright green amphibian with large, sticky toe pads for climbing trees and plants. The frog is known for its loud “cowbell” call. They are common in the central and southeastern parts of the US, usually in marshes, swamps, ponds, and lakes with plenty of vegetation. They are commonly found clinging to plants or house windows at night.
