Milde’s Tarantula-Hawk Wasp – Signed Fine Art Print
Information about the Tarantula Hawk Wasp:
The tarantula hawk wasp is species of spider wasp. The female searches for tarantulas, which they capture the paralyze with a sting. The tarantula is then taken back to the wasp's lair and a single egg is laid inside it. The burrow is then sealed. When the larvae is born it then feeds on the still living spider. The male wasp does not hunt, but instead feeds on the flowers of various trees and plants. While the wasp is not aggressive and generally does not sting humans, it can if it feels threatened. The wasp's sting is among the most painful in the animal kingdom. It is the official state insect of New Mexico. The poster is printed on matte, museum-quality paper with Giclée printing quality:

Military Macaw – Signed Fine Art Print
Information about the Military Macaw:
Military Macaw is a large parrot and a medium-sized member of the macaw genus. Though considered vulnerable as a wild species, it is still commonly found in the pet trade industry. A predominantly green bird, it is found in the forests of Mexico and South America. An adult bird grows to be about 28 inches long (70.5 cm) with a wingspan of 33-43 inches (99–110cm) The Military Macaw is sometimes confused with the somewhat larger Great Green Macaw. Military Macaws live in large flocks and can live about 50–60 years in the wild. They can often be heard long before they are seen. They are a very noisy bird making a variety of loud cracking and shrieking sounds, including a loud kraa-aak. Their diet consists of seeds, fruits, nuts, berries, and other vegetation found on treetops in their forests. Their beaks are well adapted for eating various seeds and nuts as they have the ability to break open the hardest of shells with relative ease. The Military Macaw inhabits arid woodlands and subtropical forests. They typically live at elevations of 600 to 2600 m, higher in the mountains than most macaws ever range. However, these macaws may seasonally fly down to lowlands, where they are likely in humid forests and thorny woodlandsThe poster is printed on matte, museum-quality paper with Giclée printing quality:

Milwaukee Depot, Minnesota – Signed Fine Art Print
Information about the Milwaukee Depot:
The Milwaukee Depot - also called the Old Milwaukee Road Depot - was a depot in downtown Minneapolis that brought trains into the city for seven decades. The structure was built in 1899, and the last train left in 1971. It was a travel and business hub, built in the Renaissance Revival Style. The interior was beautiful, with white marble floors, a ceiling of paneled oak and brown and cream colored bricks made up the walls. As Minneapolis grew, the depot was very active with dozens of trains coming and going daily. By 1971, however, the train traffic slowed to a stop and all service was cut. The building sat unused for many years, until 1998 when the property was developed and a large complex constructed, incorporating much of the original parts of the building. In the complex is an indoor water park, a center for the history of the building, hotels, parking lot and a seasonal ice skating rink. The poster is printed on matte, museum-quality paper with Giclée printing quality:

Mimic Octopus – Signed Fine Art Print
Information about the Mimic Octopus:
The Mimic Octopus is a small species of cephalopod that lives in the tropical seas of Southeast Asia. It is a recent find, and wasn't officially discovered until 1998. As the name implies, this octopus is a master imitator. Incredibly, it is known to be able to mimic at least 15 different sea animals, including a sea snake, lionfish, starfish, giant crab, jellyfish, flounder, stingray, mantis shrimp and several others. Based upon observation, this octopus chooses which animal to mimic based upon the predators in the immediate area. Miniature Dachshund – Signed Fine Art Print
Information about the Miniature Dachshund:
The Miniature Dachshund is a breed of dog that has been developed based on the larger standard Dachshund. Generally they weigh about 8-11 pounds with a height of 5-8 inches at the shoulder. They are also called "wiener dogs" for the obvious resemblance. The name "Dachshund" comes from the German word for "badger" (dachs) and "dog" (hund.) They are believed to have been developed in Germany in the 16th century, and their design and shape make it possible for them them descend into burrows and tunnels to kill badgers and other pests that dig holes. But they are also excellent hunting dogs for above ground prey too. They have an excellent sense of smell which gives them an advantage over some other types of dogs. The breed has three coats; smooth, long-haired and wire-haired. They are highly active and independent dogs, and their good nature makes them one of the most popular breeds of dog in the world. Because of their shape, however, they are prone to back injuries as well as Intervertebral Disc Disease which is usually caused by obesity. The poster is printed on matte, museum-quality paper with Giclée printing quality:

Mink Frog – Signed Fine Art Print
Information about the Mink Frog:
The Mink or North Frog is a small amphibian native to the northern areas of North America. They are called Mink Frogs for their scent, which is like that of a mink (although the smell has also been likened to that of rotting onions.) They grow to about 2-3 inches long, and are generally olive green in color with brownish black splotches on the backs, legs and arms. The bellies are usually white or cream colored. These frogs are rarely found far from water. They prefer to live in and around lakeshores in close proximity to lily pads and other vegetation that can provide cover in case of danger. They feed mostly on snails, insects and other invertebrates. Minke Whale – Signed Fine Art Print
Information about the Minke Whale:
The Minke Whale - as called the Lesser Rorqual - is a marine mammal of the order Cetacea. It is often classified as two species - the Common Minke Whale and the Antarctic Minke Whale. It is the second smallest of the baleen whales (only the aptly named Pygmy Whale is smaller) Minke Whales grow to be about 23-35 feet long with the males a being little longer. Adults will generally weigh 3-5 tons. These cetaceans are widely distributed throughout the world's oceans, and can be found from the poles to the tropics. They occasionally will come near coastal areas, but it appears they tend to prefer the open oceans. Due to whaling these large ocean going mammals, were at one times considered endangered, but thanks to the ban on whaling - respected by most countries - their numbers have rebounded and their numbers are stable. Minneapolis City Hall, Minnesota – Signed Fine Art Print
Information about the Minneapolis City Hall:
The Minneapolis City Hall - also called the Minneapolis Courthouse - was designed in 1888 by the architectural firm of Long & Keys. Construction on the building went on until 1909 and the final cost was in the area of $3.5 million dollars, considerably more expensive than the original $1.5 million that was budgeted for the project. It replaced an earlier building that served as the city hall, but that was too small to fit the ever expanding city's needs. The design is based on the Allegheny County Courthouse in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The building's style is known as "Richardsonian Romanesque" At the time, it was the tallest building in the city, and remained so until 1929 when the Foshay Tower was built. The exterior of the building is very rough looking, and the blocks used are made from Ortonville Granite and weigh in the area of 20 tons. The poster is printed on matte, museum-quality paper with Giclée printing quality:
