Artist's notes:
The Permit Fish is a member of the family Carangidae. It is a game fish native to the warm waters of the western Atlantic Ocean, from Massachusetts in the north, along the coast of the Americas down to Brazil . The name of this fish comes from a Latin adjective that roughly means "armed with scythes." Adults can reach a maximum of 48 inches (122 cm) weighing up to 80 pounds (36 kg.) They are generally found in shallow waters, usually with muddy bottoms, along channels and in mudflats. They are sometimes seen alone or in small schools. Persian Leopard – Signed Fine Art Print
Information about the Persian Leopard:
The Persian Leopard - also called Caucasian leopard - is the largest leopard subspecies They are native to remote areas of northern Iran, eastern Turkey, the Caucasus mountains, southern Turkmenistan, and parts of western Afghanistan. This large wild cat endangered throughout its range with fewer than 871–1,290 mature individuals, and the population is declining. Like other large cats, Persian Leopards feed on goat, deer, gazelle and wild boar. They will attack and kill livestock and for this reason they are often exterminated by local farmers. At one time these leopards were most likely distributed once over the whole Caucasus, except for steppe areas. Surveys conducted between 2001 and 2005 confirmed that there are no more leopards in the western part of the Greater Caucasus, and that they survived only at a few sites in the eastern part. The largest populations survive in Iran. The political and social changes in the former Soviet Union in 1992 caused a severe economic crisis and a weakening of formerly effective protection systems. The poster is printed on matte, museum-quality paper with Giclée printing quality:

Persian Onager – Signed Fine Art Print
Information about the Persian Onager:
The Persian Onagers are one of six sub-species of wild ass that once were common across Central Asia and the Middle East. Fewer than 700 animals remain in the wild, most of these in Iran. Because of their remote location and travel in Iran generally restricted to outsides, determining their population is increasingly difficult. These wild asses face several threats, including poaching, habitat loss, drought and inbreeding due to the small population. Sometimes the term "onager" is reserved specifically for this subspecies. There are very few onagers in captivity or in zoos, however in 2012 there was a rare foal born to the National Zoo in Washington, DC.The poster is printed on matte, museum-quality paper with Giclée printing quality:
