The Striped Skunk is an omnivorous mammal found over most of North America, north of the Mexican border. As a last resort the skunk will spray a strong-smelling fluid to defend itself. This spray can travel up to 12 feet. The skunk is mostly nocturnal, sleeping in a burrow most of the day emerging at night to hunt for food. Sun Parakeet – Signed Fine Art Print

$19.95$27.95

Information about the Sun Parakeet or Sun Conure:

Sun Parakeet or Sun Conure is a medium-sized brightly colored parrot native to northeastern South America. The adult male and female are similar in appearance. Sun Parakeets generally weigh about 4 ounces (110 g) and are roughly 12 inches long (30 cm.) This parrot occurs only in a relatively small region of north-eastern South America: the north Brazilian state of Roraima, southern Guyana, extreme southern Suriname, and southern French Guiana. It is widely reported as occurring in savanna and coastal forests, but recent sightings suggest it mainly occurs at the edge of humid forest growing in foothills in the Guiana Shield, and crosses more open habitats only when traveling between patches of forest. Due to habitat loss and the demand in the pet trade these parrots have been pushed to the point of being endangered in the wild.

It has an notably wide mouth - 1.6 times the size of the length of the frog's body It also has horn-like projections above its eyes which give it it's common name.
