California Two-Spot Octopus – Signed Fine Art Print
Information about the California Two-Spot Octopus:
The California Two-Spot Octopus, also called the Bimac Octopus, is native to the waters off the coast of California, but are also found in Eastern Pacific and East Africa and south to the Great Barrier Reef. The name comes from the two eye-like spots found on each side of it's head. They are smaller cephalopods, reaching only about a seven inch body size and arms about twenty inches long. For this reason they are often kept as pets. They do not live long, usually no more than two years. Canadian Toad – Signed Fine Art Print
Information about the Canadian Toad:
The Canadian Toad is a species of amphibian found in the prairie regions of central Canada south to parts of United States upper Mid-West. Its binominal name comes from the Latin words "bufonis" which means toad, and "hemiophrys" meaning the eyebrow. This name refers to the pronounced brow of the toad. The Canadian Toad possesses the typical toad traits; they do not have a tail or teeth, they have horizontal pupils and their dry skin is thick and bumpy. They are medium-sized toads, growing to about 2.25-3 inches long. The females grow a little larger than the males. To survive the long and cold winters, the toads enter a torpor state, where they burrow down very deep into the ground, creating small holes where they will be sheltered from the freezing temperatures, emerging in the spring to feed and seek mates. Carpet Chameleon – Signed Fine Art Print
Information about the Carpet Chameleon:
The Carpet Chameleon - also called the Jeweled Chameleon or the White-Linedned Chameleon, is a species of chameleon native to the island of Madagascar. It's mostly found in the central part of Madagascar. Normally found between 390 and 6,316 ft (120 and 1,925 meters) above sea level and has been estimated to be found over an area of 180,554 sq mi (467,634 kilometers) Both males and females can reach a maximum length of anything between 6.7 and 9.8 inches (17 and 25 centimeters). The males are largely green and females are heavier-bodied and have a wider range of colors, including bands of white, yellow and orange. Both sexes have stripy throats and lips. They can change their color depending on their mood and environmental factors - but despite popular belief they don't change their colors to camouflage themselves. Usually the reptile start the day with a dark color to enable them to warm up rapidly by exposing themselves to sunlight. This species is one of the smallest "true" species of chameleon, and they are timid and shy.
