European Starling – Signed Fine Art Print

$19.95$27.95

Information about the European Starling:

The European Starling - also called the Common Starling or simply Starling - is a member of the order of Passeriformes or songbirds or, more accurately perching birds. There are many subspecies of the Starling, scattered across much of the Northern Hemisphere. They are a highly adaptable species and have been introduced - usually unintentionally - in many areas they are not native to. This has resulted in the steep decline of native species who cannot compete with the aggressive bird that reproduces at such a high rate. These birds can live in many different environments, and are omnivorous and feed on various types of invertebrates such as caterpillars, moths, cicadas and spiders. They will also feed plant matter like seeds, fruits, grains and nectars. Gray Catbird – Signed Fine Art Print

$19.95$27.95

Information about the Gray Catbird:

The Gray Catbird - sometimes spelled Grey Catbird - is a medium-sized perching bird native to much of the North American continent, reaching from most of the east coast, past the Rockies with the range ending roughly in the arid deserts of the southwest, northwards into the Pacific Northwest. It is also known as the Slate-Colored Mockingbird. They are called catbirds because of their distinctive cat-like call, however they will also mimic other bird calls like mockingbirds - which are also members of the Mimidae family. They are shy birds, and when singing they will sometimes do so from deep inside the foliage of a tree or bush, unlike other birds that perch in prominent areas when singing.
