$19.95$27.95

Information about the Sumatran Rhinoceros:

The Sumatran Rhinoceros is one of the five extant rhinos and the only living member of the genus Dicerorhinus. This rainforest dwelling mammal once ranged throughout the jungles of India, Bhutan, Bangladesh and much of Southeast Asia. But due to poaching (mostly or black market sales of their valuable horns) and habitat loss they live only in small, isolated areas in Sumatra, Borneo and Malaysia. They are the smallest of the living rhinos, standing about 4.5 feet tall at the shoulder and weighing about 1500 pounds. They are considered critically endangered. Fewer than 275 are believed to be alive in the wild.

Sun Parakeet – Signed Fine Art Print

$19.95$27.95

Information about the Sun Parakeet or Sun Conure:

Sun Parakeet or Sun Conure is a medium-sized brightly colored parrot native to northeastern South America. The adult male and female are similar in appearance. Sun Parakeets generally weigh about 4 ounces (110 g) and are roughly 12 inches long (30 cm.) This parrot occurs only in a relatively small region of north-eastern South America: the north Brazilian state of Roraima, southern Guyana, extreme southern Suriname, and southern French Guiana. It is widely reported as occurring in savanna and coastal forests, but recent sightings suggest it mainly occurs at the edge of humid forest growing in foothills in the Guiana Shield, and crosses more open habitats only when traveling between patches of forest. Due to habitat loss and the demand in the pet trade these parrots have been pushed to the point of being endangered in the wild.
