The Desert Horned Viper, is also called the Saharan Horned Viper, African Desert Horned Viper and Asp - is a venomous snake native to the deserts of Northern Africa and parts of the Middle East. The average total length including body + tail is 12-24 inches (30–60 cm), with a maximum total length of 33 inches (85 cm). Females are generally larger than the males. These snakes favor dry, sandy areas with sparse rock outcroppings, and tend not to prefer coarse sand. Duck-Billed Dinosaur – Signed Fine Art Print
Information about the Duck-Billed Dinosaur:
The genus name for the Duck-Billed Dinosaur - Maiasaura - comes from a combination of Greek words meaning "caring mother lizard." The Duck-Billed Dinosaur lived in the area that is not Montana in the USA, roughly 74 million years ago, which falls in the era of the mid to late Cambrian period. These were large animals, reaching about 30 feet long (9 meters) While there is some disagreement about the size and shape of the crest on the animals head, it was generally thought to be used for head-butting during the breeding season. It is also believed that it was a dinosaur that lived in herds and raised it's young. It is the state fossil of Montana.
