Rough Green Snake – Signed Fine Art Print

$19.95$27.95

Information about the Rough Green Snake:

The Rough Green Snake - sometimes called the grass snake or green grass snake is a North American colubrid. It is sometimes called grass snake or green grass snake - which is a European snake and is not closely related. The rough green snake is docile, often allowing close approach by humans, and seldom bites. It grows up to 45 inches long (116 cm) and is quite thin. This reptile ranges throughout the Southeastern United States, from Florida, north to New Jersey, Indiana, and west to Central Texas. The snake is commonly found in the Piedmont and Atlantic Coastal Plain, but is not found in the higher elevations of the Appalachian Mountains. It is also found in northeastern Mexico, including the state of Tamaulipas and eastern Nuevo León. Its preferred habitat is moist meadows and woodlands, often near water. It is highly arboreal, frequently found climbing in low vegetation, and is also a good swimmer. However, it is often found on the ground as well. Unlike many snakes, it is largely diurnal. Its diet consists mostly of insects and other terrestrial arthropods, but some snails and tree frogs are eaten as well. This snake is not a constrictor—most prey are grabbed and simply swallowed alive.

Satanic Leaf-Tailed Gecko – Signed Fine Art Print

$19.95$27.95

Information about the Satanic-Leaf Tailed Gecko:

The Satanic-Leaf Tailed gecko is a species of reptile native to the tropical rainforests of the island of Madagascar, off the eastern coast of Africa. It is not native to anywhere else on earth. The gecko has excellent camouflage, and with the mottled color of it's skin and the texture it can be quite difficult to see should it be clinging to the side of a tree. They are threatened by habitat loss in their native Madagascar. The Satanic Leaf-Tailed Gecko does well in captivity and is sometimes kept as a pet.

Saurophaganax – Signed Fine Art Print

$19.95$27.95

Information about the Saurophaganax:

The Saurophaganax - whose name means "lizard-eating master" is a genus of allosaurid dinosaur that lived in the from the Late Jurassic period, about 151 million years ago. Saurophaganax was discovered in 1931/32 by John Willis Stoval at a dig site near Kenton, Oklahoma. There is some discussion over exactly what genus this dinosaur is, and some paleontologists consider it to be a species of Allosaurus, but there is some disagreement on this point. This large and dangerous dinosaur was thought to have a maximum size of 34-43 feet long (10.5-13 meters) and weighing in the areas of around 3 tones (3.0 long tons; 3.3 short tons). It was a very large predator and likely the top of the food chain during it's existence. The Saurophaganax was named the official fossil of the state of Oklahoma.
