$19.95$27.95

Information about the Gambel's Quail:

The Gambel's Quail - named after William Gambel, who was a naturalist and explorer of the United States - is a small, mostly ground dwelling bird native to arid desert regions of the southwestern United States and Sonora. They are often seen, running from scrubby area on the ground, usually in small groups of various ages; young and adults. The birds, when adults, feed mostly on plant matter. The younger the bird is, however, the more likely they will feed on insects instead of plants. They are a popular game bird and are hunted from October to February. They are very adaptable birds, and will often make their homes in rural and urban areas, as long as there is enough cover, food and protection from predators. The poster is printed on matte, museum-quality paper with Giclée printing quality: • Paper thickness: 10.3 mil • Paper weight: 5.6 oz/y² (192 g/m²) • Opacity: 94% Buy a Digital Download
