Olive Ridley Sea Turtle – Signed Fine Art Print
Information about the Olive Ridley Sea Turtle:
The Olive Ridley Sea Turtle - also called the Pacific Ridley Sea Turtle - is considered the most abundant sea turtle on the planet. These reptiles get their name from the coloring of their heart-shaped shell, which starts out gray but becomes olive green later in life. There may be more than one million in the world's oceans today. Compared to other sea turtle species adults are relatively small, weighing on average around 100 pounds (45 kg). Olive Ridleys can be seen at nesting sites on beaches all around the planet, generally in tropical and subtropical areas. When the females are getting ready to nest, its believed they use the wind and the tide to help them find the beach. Females will lay about a hundred eggs, and may nest 1-3 times a year. Olive Ridleys are mostly carnivorous, feeding on such creatures as jellyfish as well as small crustaceans such as crabs and shrimp. It is the only living species not considered to be endangered - although it is classified by the International Union for Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources as vulnerable. The poster is printed on matte, museum-quality paper with Giclée printing quality:

Orbicular Batfish – Signed Fine Art Print
Information about the Orbicular Batfish:
The Orbicular Batfish also called the circular batfish, orbiculate batfish, round batfish, or orbic batfish is a popular aquarium fish endemic to tropical waters of the Indian and Pacific Oceans. The body of this fish is almost disc-shaped, and very thin. Its tail, about 20% of the body length, is fan-shaped and is taller than it is long. In the wild, the orbicular batfish is found in brackish or marine waters, usually around reefs. Its range extends from the Red Sea and East Africa in the east to the Tuamotu Islands in French Polynesia in the west, and from southern Japan in the north to northern Australia and New Caledonia. It has been recorded off the coast of Florida, though this may be the result of dumping of aquarium specimens. Juvenile fish are solitary or live in small groups, among mangroves or other inner sheltered lagoons. Adults are found in more open waters and at greater depth. The poster is printed on matte, museum-quality paper with Giclée printing quality:
