Queen Angelfish – Signed Fine Art Print

$19.95$27.95

Information about the Queen Angelfish:

The Queen Angelfish is a colorful fish found in the warm coral reefs of the Atlantic Ocean, specifically in and around Florida, the Bahamas and the Gulf of Mexico. Despite their bright coloration, these fish blend quite well into their surroundings. Queen Angelfish feed on sponges, jellyfish, corals, plankton and algae. Juveniles will serve as 'cleaner fish' to larger species and sea turtles. These fish do well in captivity and are frequently kept as pets in saltwater aquariums. They have tiny mouths that protract and contain slender brush-like teeth in a thin band. Unlike some other coral reef fish, they do not school, but instead are solitary or swim in pairs, which might mean that they are monogamous.

Rainbow Scorpionfish – Signed Fine Art Print

$19.95$27.95

Information about the Rainbow Scorpionfish:

The Rainbow Scorpionfish is a bottom dwelling fish, commonly in the reefs, rocky areas and kelp forests in the Eastern Pacific: California, USA to Peru and the Galapagos Islands. A common but inconspicuous species. They have earned their name, as they have sharp spines with a venom gland, and these can inflict a nasty sting if they're provoked. Otherwise, these brightly colored fish tend stay hidden, rather than actively hunt, preferring to ambush any prey that wander close to them. They feed on small gastropods, crustaceans and fish, using the enormously powerful suction of their mouths to gulp up prey.

Red Admiral Butterfly – Signed Fine Art Print

$19.95$27.95

Information about the Red Admiral Butterfly:

The Red Admiral Butterfly is a commonly seen butterfly native to moist meadows, open fields and well-watered urban areas in temperate Europe, Asia and North America. It has a wingspan of 1.8–2.0 inches (45–50 mm.) The caterpillar feeds on nettles, and the adult drinks from flowering plants like the Buddleia and overripe fruit. In northern Europe, it is one of the last butterflies to be seen before winter sets in, often feeding on the flowers of ivy on sunny days. The Red Admiral is also known to hibernate, re-emerging individuals showing prominently darker colorings than first brood subjects. The butterfly also flies on sunny winter days, especially in southern Europe. In North America, the Red Admiral generally has two broods from March through October. Most of North America must be re-colonized each spring by southern migrants, but this species over-winters in south Texas. Red Admirals are considered to be people-friendly butterflies that will approach and perch on human beings.
