Short-Faced Bear – Signed Fine Art Print
Information about the Short-Faced Bear:
The Short-Faced Bear is an extinct member of the family Ursidae or bears. It lived during the Pleistocene era, about 800,000 to 11,000 years ago.It is closely related to living bears like the Grizzly and Black Bear. It is generally believed to have grown to be much larger than any living species of bear today. It was one of the most common bears in North America, with many found in what is today California. The first documented fossil was discovered Potter Creek Cave, Shasta County, California in 1890 by American paleontologist Edward Cope. These were massive bears, with estimates that some individuals weighed 1600 to 1900 pounds, and with a stretched up nose could have reached nearly 15 feet into the air. It is not clear why these bears went extinct, and the smaller relatives the Grizzly and Black Bear survived. It could be the prey that they ate were killed off by humans, or they themselves became hunted by early humans, or that they were unable to adapt to a series of environmental changes in their range. Short-Snouted Seahorse – Signed Fine Art Print
Information about the Pacific Seahorse:
The Pacific Seahorse is a member of the order of Gasterosteiformes, which are a group of ray-finned fishes which includes the sticklebacks and relatives. It is found over a large part of the Pacific Ocean, from the coastal water of southern California, down along to Peru and as far east at the Galapagos Islands. As adults, these fish grow to about 5.1 to 7.5 inches long (13 to 19 centimeters.) Pacific Seahorses feed mostly on bottom-swarming organisms like mysids and other plankton. They do not have teeth or stomachs. Prey is consumed by a rapid snap of the head after sucking it through their long snout. Like other species of seahorses, the young actually gestate in the male's body who also gives birth to them. The poster is printed on matte, museum-quality paper with Giclée printing quality:

The Siamese crocodile is a small, freshwater crocodile native to Indonesia (Borneo and perhaps Java), Brunei, East Malaysia, Laos, Cambodia, Burma, Thailand, and Vietnam. They are native to a wide range of freshwater habitats, including slow-moving rivers and streams, lakes, seasonal oxbow lakes, marshes and swamplands. Due to habitat loss and overhunting, the species is critically endangered and already extirpated from many regions. Its other common names include: Siamese freshwater crocodile, Singapore small-grain, cocodrilo de Siam, crocodile du Siam, buaja, buaya kodok, jara kaenumchued, and soft-belly. The reptile has a relatively broad, smooth snout and an elevated, bony crest behind each eye. Overall, it is an olive-green color, with some variation to dark-green. Young specimens measure 3.9–4.9 feet (1.2–1.5 m) and weigh 13–26 lb (6–12 kg) Adult can measure up to nearly 7 feet (2.1 m) and a weigh 88–150 pounds (40–70 kg). Information about the Siberian Tiger:
The Siberian Tiger, also called the Amur, Altaic, Korean, North Chinese or Ussuri tiger, is a rare and critically endangered subspecies of tiger. Almost all wild Siberian tigers live the Amur region in the Southeast corner of Russia. They are the largest of the tiger species and can grow up to 13 feet in length and weigh up to 700 lbs. The Siberian tiger preys primarily on wild boar and red deer, which make up 65-90% of its diet. These tigers are hunted for meat, their skins and their bones which are used in traditional Asian medicines, despite the fact that there is no scientific benefit from the tiger when used this way.The poster is printed on matte, museum-quality paper with Giclée printing quality:

Sierra Nevada Mountain Yellow-Legged Frog – Signed Fine Art Print
Information about the Sierra Nevada Mountain Yellow-Legged Frog:
The Sierra Nevada Mountain Yellow-Legged Frog (formerly called the Rana muscosa - Mountain Yellow-legged Frog) is a species of "true" frog, divided into two separate species - the Southern and Northern. At one time these little amphibians were the most common frog found in the Sierra Nevada mountains. But due to a host of environmental pressures these frogs are now found in only about 7% of their original range. Generally only about 1 to 3.5 inches long (4-9 centimeters) they feed primarily on small invertebrates, both aquatic and terrestrial as well as tadpoles. While the frog is now considered endangered and protected in some areas, there is little being done as far as reestablishing them to their original range. It has the odd defense mechanism of smelling like garlic when handled by humans.
