These eels are found in the warm waters of the Indo-Pacific Ocean, usually tucked into rocks and crevices in the coral reefs. The Giant Moray Eels feeds on fish and crustaceans, and they are able to crush their prey with powerful jaws and sharp teeth. They can grow to about 9 feet long (3 meters) The Giant Moray Eel is a fearsome predator, near or at the top of the food chain. Because of this, they can be fairly fearless when it comes to humans.
