Mongolian Wild Ass – Signed Fine Art Print
Information about the Mongolian Wild Ass:
The Mongolian Wild Ass or Donkey, also called the Khulan or Kulan, is a member of the family Equidae. They are found in remote regions of Mongolia and Northern China. At one time it was also found in Kazakhstan, but the animal was extirpated due to hunting. Because of ongoing poaching, hunting and competition from domestic livestock for food the number of these wild equines has continued to decline to the point of where the entire species itself is in danger of extinction. Several conservation groups are working to preserve the species, although due to the remoteness of the Khulan's habitat this can be a very challenging undertaking. The poster is printed on matte, museum-quality paper with Giclée printing quality: • Paper thickness: 10.3 mil • Paper weight: 5.6 oz/y² (192 g/m²) • Opacity: 94% Buy a Digital Download
