Aardvark – Signed Fine Art Print
Information about the Aardvark:
Aardvarks (also sometimes called Anteaters and Antbears) are the only living members of the order Tubulidentata. They are large, burrowing mammals native to sub-Saharan areas of Central Africa and into the southern parts of the continent. The name 'aardvark means 'earth pig' or 'ground pig' in Afrikaans/Dutch. The aardvark is mostly nocturnal, and they feed almost exclusively on termites and ants. Despite appearances and similar behaviors the aardvark is not related to the South American Anteater.
