Information about the Io Moth:
The Io Moth is a North American member of the Saturniidae family. This colorful moth's range is from from the southeast corner of Manitoba and in the southern extremes of Ontario, Quebec, and New Brunswick in Canada, and in the US it is found from Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Colorado, New Mexico, Texas, Utah, east of those states and down to the southern end of Florida. The Io Moth has a wingspan of about 2.5-3.5 inches (63-88 mm). The species is sexually dimorphic, males having bright yellow forewings, body, and legs, while the females have reddish brown forewings, body, and legs. Males have much bigger plumose (feathery) antennae than the females. Common to both sexes are the distinctive large black to bluish eyespot with some white in the center, on each hindwing. Information about the Island Night Lizard:
The Island Night Lizard can be found on three of the Channel Islands of California: San Nicolas Island, Santa Barbara Island and San Clemente Island. A small number of lizards also live on Sutil Island, near Santa Barbara Island. The Island Night Lizard was listed as a threatened species under the Endangered Species Act in the United States since 1977. This lizard's preferred habitat is coastal scrub made up of dense boxthorn and cacti thickets. Like other night lizards, it bears live young rather than laying eggs. The island lizards are much larger than their cousins in the genus, the desert night lizards (Xantusia vigilis) of southern California. The lizards are typically between 2.6 and 4.3 inches in length, not including the tail. They typically live between 11-13 years, but some individuals are estimated to have lived 30 years or more. The poster is printed on matte, museum-quality paper with Giclée printing quality:

Jefferson’s Ground Sloth – Signed Fine Art Print
Information about the Jefferson's Ground Sloth:
The Jefferson's Ground Sloth is an extinct mammal that was native to much of the North American continent. IT is believed to have lived from roughly 15,000 BP to 10,000 BCE. It is one of several species of giant sloth that roamed both North and South America, until a series of environmental pressures forced all but a few species into extinction. The name "Megalonyx" was suggested by Thomas Jefferson, who would eventually become the president of the US. Jefferson's Ground Sloth grew to be 8 to 10 feet long (2.5–3 meters) and had the widest range of the extinct giant sloths.
