Anise Swallowtail Butterfly – Signed Fine Art Print

$19.95$27.95

Information about the Anise Swallowtail Butterfly:

The Anise Swallowtail Butterfly is a member of the family Papilionidae and native to much of the western parts of North America. It is very similar to the Western Tiger Swallowtail (Papilio rutulus) but it is a little shorter and lacks some of the black markings on the tail. It gets it's name from the Fennel plant (also called Wild Anise) the caterpillar stage of the insect feeds on. This butterfly is found most commonly in areas that have been disturbed or otherwise altered by humans, such as the edges alongside road, foothills that have been logged, open gardens and parks. The poster is printed on matte, museum-quality paper with Giclée printing quality: • Paper thickness: 10.3 mil • Paper weight: 5.6 oz/y² (192 g/m²) • Opacity: 94% Buy a Digital Download
