Information about the Northern Copperhead Snake:
The Northern Copperhead Snake - also called the copperhead moccasin - is a short, heavy-bodied venomous reptile of the viper family. It is native to eastern parts of the United States. They are not generally dangerous and encounters usually with the snake end with viper retreating. Panamint Rattlesnake – Signed Fine Art Print
Information about the Panamint Rattlesnake:
The Panamint Rattlesnake - also called the Panamint rattler, Owens Valley rattler or Tiger rattlesnake - is a venomous pitviper subspecies found in desert mountain areas of southern Nevada and adjacent California, at about altitudes around 3000 feet (900 meters) to 7,900 feet (2,400 meters) These snakes are usually commonly found on the eastern slopes of the Sierra Nevada from Mono County, California, east to Nye County, Nevada, south through southwestern Nevada, southeast to Clark County, Nevada, and southwest to central San Bernardino County, California. The subspecific name, stephensi, is in honor of Frank Stephens who was the Curator Emeritus of the San Diego Society of Natural History. The snake feeds on birds, lizards and small mammals, injecting venom and paralyzing the prey. Bites are not common, but when humans are bitten they should seek medical attention immediately. The name Panamint comes from the range of mountain in Death Valley that the snake is native to.The poster is printed on matte, museum-quality paper with Giclée printing quality:
