California Sheephead – Signed Fine Art Print
Information about the California Sheephead:
The California Sheephead are native to the kelp forests and open, rocky areas of the Pacific Ocean off the coastline of the US. They are sexually dimorphic, which means their are physical differences between males and females; the females are smaller than the males and are without the distinctive coloration of the males and their bands of red and black with white bellies. Sheephead have powerful jaws used to pry animals from rocks, usually crustaceans or other hard bodied invertebrates. Their teeth are then used to grind up the animal. They are active during the day and usually retreat into a rock crevice during the night. These large fish were once plentiful, but overfishing has caused their number to plummet, and there is now restrictions on how many can be caught. All sheephead are born female, but change their gender as they age. How this process works and why the fish has developed this way is unknown. The poster is printed on matte, museum-quality paper with Giclée printing quality:

French Angelfish – Signed Fine Art Print
Information about the French Angelfish:
The French Angelfish member of the family Pomacanthidae. It's found in the western Atlantic from New York and the Bahamas to Brazil, and also the Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean, including the Antilles, Roatan, and the eastern Atlantic from around Ascension Island and St. Paul's Rocks, at depths of between 2 and 100 m. Length is up to 41 cm. The French angelfish is common in shallow reefs, occurs usually in pairs often near sea fans. It feeds on sponges, algae, bryozoans, zoantharians, gorgonians and tunicates. Juveniles tend cleaning stations where they service a broad range of clients, including jacks, snappers, morays, grunts, surgeonfishes, and wrasses. At the station the cleaner displays a fluttering swimming and when cleaning it touches the clients with its pelvic fins. This species is oviparous and monogamous. Spawning pairs are strongly territorial and usually both partners defend vigorously their territory against neighboring pairs. The poster is printed on matte, museum-quality paper with Giclée printing quality:

Frilled-Neck Lizard – Signed Fine Art Print
Information about the Frill-Necked Lizard:
The Frill-Necked Lizard - also called Frilled Lizard or Frilled Dragon - is a medium-sized reptile native to the humid, tropical savannah woodlands of northern Australia and southern New Guinea. The name comes from the large frill around the animal's neck which, when threatened or frightened, it will unfold and display along with a gaping mouth to discourage possible predators. The frill is also used in courtship, however most of the time it is folded back against the reptile's body. The lizard is primarily arboreal and spends much of it's life in the trees. They are insectivorous feeding on beetles, cicadas and termites. Some consider the Frill-Necked lizard the reptile emblem of Australia. The poster is printed on matte, museum-quality paper with Giclée printing quality:
