Information about the Harbor Porpoise:
The Harbor Porpoise is one of six species of porpoise. It is also one of the smallest marine mammals, growing to be about 4.5 - 6.5 feet long. As the name implies, this porpoise tends to stay in coastal areas or estuaries, although occasionally they venture up rivers and can be found hundreds of miles from the ocean. Harbor Porpoises feed on non-spiny fishes like herring, cod, whiting, squid, pollock, and sardines. They have been hunted for centuries, but the animal is not considered endangered - although it appears their overall numbers are declining. Information about the Basilique du Sacré-Cœur, Paris:
The Basilique du Sacré-Cœur, Paris, also known as Sacré-Cœur Basilica, is a Roman Catholic church, dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. It is situated promenently on the hilltop of Montmartre, the highest point on Paris. After some legal maneuvering, the city seized the land and work began in 1875. The architect was Paul Abadie, who was a notable restorer of many famous religious buildings in France. Although he died shortly after the foundation was laid, and the work was continued by several other architects, who carried on the work until the building was completed in 1914. Official dedication was put off until the end of World War I in 1919. The building is remarkable because of it's peculiar blending of architectural styles, such as Roman-Byzantine, along with many nationalistic themes, such as Joan of Arc and King Saint Louis IX who were both martyred. The church cost over 7 million francs, all of which were donated by private individuals and groups. The poster is printed on matte, museum-quality paper with Giclée printing quality:

Lake Harriet Band Shelter – Signed Fine Art Print
Information about the Lake Harriet Band Shelter:
The current incarnation of the Lake Harriet Bandshell was constructed in 1986. It stands on the site of previous buildings, some of which were destroyed by fire. The building was designed by the local architectural firm of Bentz Thompson Rietow. The architect was Milo Thompson. The building itself has a 30 foot by 25 foot glass in the back of the building that faces out towards the lake, so as you look into from the front, you can see the lake and any activity on it. The bandshell has a seating capacity of about 900. The bandshell underwent a major refurbishing in 2004. The Park Board itself did not have the funds available, so local businessman Mark McGowan organized groups of volunteers, funded by private donations, to repaint the Bandshell, refectory and sailing pavilion. Working in tandem with the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board, the exterior of the building was painted light brown (it had been blue) and some upgrades to the sound system were done, along with the large glass plate being replaced with a thicker, stronger glass. During the summer months concerts are held in the building with a wide variety of music being represented. The building is now also available to rent to hold wedding ceremonies. The poster is printed on matte, museum-quality paper with Giclée printing quality:
