Yellow-Footed Rock-Wallaby – Signed Fine Art Print
Information about the Yellow-Footed Rock Wallaby:
The Yellow-Footed Rock Wallaby - formerly called the Ringtailed Wallaby - is a member of the macropod family, which is the family or marsupial which includes kangaroos, wallabies, tree-kangaroos, and wallaroos. These animals are found in a very small area of New South Wales in Australia. As the name implies, this wallaby tends to favor rocky outcrops, usually as far from human habitation as possible. The discovery of this species was fairly recent, and was recorded for the first time in 1964. In 1979 the Foundation for National Parks & Wildlife purchased 100 square kilometers of this land, which then became Coturaundee Nature Reserve. This areas is protected for the conservation and protection of the yellow-footed rock-wallaby. Part of the allocated fund were used to removed non-native species that have established themselves there, such as fox and goat. The Yellow-Footed Tortoise - also called the Brazilian Giant Tortoise, South American Tortoise and Forest Tortoise - is a species of turtle native to the dense rainforest and the tropical lowlands in South America. These tortoises like to build their nests hidden in the growth of a thick forest. This reptile is omnivorous, and will eat both plant matter like grasses mushrooms, fallen fruit as well as slow moving animals like snails and worms. Due to habitat destruction and removal of individuals for the pet trade the Yellow Footed Tortoise is considered vulnerable. The poster is printed on matte, museum-quality paper with Giclée printing quality:

Yellow-Headed Blackbird – Signed Fine Art Print
Information about the Yellow-Headed Blackbird:
The Yellow-Headed Blackbird is a passerine bird and a member of the Icteridae family and the only member of the genus Xanthocephalus. Adult males are mainly black with a yellow head and breast; they have a white wing patch sometimes only visible in flight. The adult female is mainly brown with a dull yellow throat and breast. They are typically found in swamps and marshes of North America, mainly west of the Great Lakes. They nest in colonies, often sharing their habitat closely with the Red-winged Blackbird. During the breeding and nesting season the males are very territorial and spend much of their time perched on reed stalks and displaying or chasing off intruders. These birds migrate in the winter to the southwestern United States and Mexico. They often migrate in huge flocks with other species of birds. The only regions of the United States where these blackbirds are permanent residents are the San Joaquin Valley and the Lower Colorado River Valley of Arizona and California. These birds forage in the marsh, in fields or on the ground; they sometimes catch insects in flight. They mainly eat seeds and insects. Outside of the nesting period, they often feed in flocks, often with related species. This bird's song resembles the grating of a rusty hinge. The poster is printed on matte, museum-quality paper with Giclée printing quality:

Yellow-Headed Day Gecko – Signed Fine Art Print
Information about the Yellow-Headed Gecko:
The Yellow-Headed gecko is a small arboreal lizard native to the tropical forests of Central and South America. It can grow to be about 2.7-3.5 inches long (69-90 mm.) This lizard is highly adaptable and has been introduced into other tropical and sub-tropical areas and established permanent populations. Like other geckos, it has no eyelid, and must use it's long tongue to keep it's eyeballs moistened. This is a very attractive species of gecko and it is sometimes kept as a pet. It does well in captivity and will become tame, taking food from the owners hand at times. It is not considered endangered. The poster is printed on matte, museum-quality paper with Giclée printing quality:

Yellow-Spotted Amazon River Turtle – Signed Fine Art Print
Information about the Yellow-Spotted River Turtle:
The Yellow-Spotted River Turtle - also called the Yellow-Spotted Amazon River Turtle - is one of the larger freshwater turtles native to the tropical forests of South America. They generally grow to about 17-18 inches long (44-45 cm) This species is a type of "side-necked turtles" so called because they do not pull their heads directly into their shells, but rather bend their necks sideways to tuck their heads under the rim of their shells. Side-neck turtles are classified as members of the suborder Pleurodira. The Yellow-Spotted River Turtle was once exploited by the American pet turtle trade in the 1960s. Importation of this species is now strictly regulated by Federal law, but a captive, self-sustaining population exists in the United States, some groups in zoos, others in the hands of private collectors. Due to habitat loss and illegal poaching they are considered "vulnerable" by conservation groups. The poster is printed on matte, museum-quality paper with Giclée printing quality:

Yosemite Toad – Signed Fine Art Print
Information about the Yosemite Toad:
The Yosemite Toad is considered a 'true toad.' It was once very common in the high elevations of the Sierra Nevada mountains. These toads are perhaps the most colorful of the toads found in North America. They are found in damp meadows and pine forests except when they are breeding in the months of May to July. Because of short summers in their native habitat they are only active for 4-5 months a year. Due to habit loss, pesticides and the chytrid fungus they are now endangered.
