The Spotted Turtle is a small aquatic reptile found in the eastern parts of North America, generally in the Great Lakes region and the Eastern Seaboard. The spots can vary from many hundreds to some animals with other a few. Spotted Turtles feed on small fish, crustaceans and snails. They are often kept as pets, but many states now there are laws that prohibit this as the animal is considered endangered or vulnerable in many states.
