The Varied Thrush is a colorful bird of the Pacific Northwest, with a range that stretches from Northern California all the way northward into Alaska. They are generally found in dark, old growth coniferous forests, although they are known to stray very far from their home range, sometimes turning up well into the middle section of the country. They are omnivorous feeders, and will readily eat small invertebrates as well as fruits and acorns. While this bird is not considered threatened, their numbers are in decline likely due to the loss of old growth forests on which the birds depend on.The poster is printed on matte, museum-quality paper with Giclée printing quality:
