The rugged mountain range of the Santa Ynez  – named after the Mission Santa Inés (sometimes spelled Santa Ynez) in Solvang, California – are home to dozens of species of birds, mammals, insect, amphibians and reptiles. Here’s some select species including the Cougar, Black Bear, Great Horned-Owl, Western Rattlesnake and California Quail. All animals are expertly rendered all on a background illustration of the mountains themselves.
