Triceratops – Signed Fine Art Print

$19.95$27.95

Information about the Triceratops:

The Triceratops is a genus of large, herbivorous extinct dinosaur that lived in the late Maastrichtian stage of the Late Cretaceous Period, around 68 to 65 million years ago in what is now North America. The name comes from the oblivious and prominent set of three horns protruding from the dinosaur's face. The name 'triceratops' in Greek means "three-horned face." The exact function of these horns is in debate, although it is generally accepted they were used for defensive purposes, although it's possible that the horns were used in courtship rituals or displays of dominance within the species. These animals were about the size of a small bus, estimated to have reached about 26.0–29.5 feet (7.9 to 9.0 m) long, 9.5–9.8 feet (2.9 to 3.0 m) tall and 13,000–26,000 pounds (6.1–12.0 tons)

Trolley by Lake Harriet in Minneapolis – Signed Fine Art Print

$19.95$27.95

Information about the Trolley at Lake Harriet Station:

The story of the trolleys of the Twin Cities is a colorful and somewhat sad one. As the city boomed, tracks were laid in virtually all neighborhoods. At it's height, the system was one of the best and extensive in the nation. The trolley system was built in large part by the now defunct Twin City Rapid Transit Company. Here is a map of the network . The trolleys covered much of the city from the eastern suburbs of Saint Paul stretching all the way the western suburbs of Minneapolis. There were some very unique features to the system, including a trolley boat that would cross Lake Minnetonka, and take visitors out to an island in the lake, which at one time had an amusement park. Due to changes in attitudes of the citizens, and the increasing popularity of buses and cars, along with the destructive business practices of Wall Street speculators, trolleys fell out of favor and the system was dismantled. Most of the cars were destroyed and the scrap metal salvaged. There is exists only a small part of the original lines left, riding alongside Lake Harriet in South Minneapolis.

Tropical Rattlesnake – Signed Fine Art Print

$19.95$27.95

Information about the Tropical Rattlesnake:

The Tropical Rattlesnake - also called the South American Rattlesnake - is a venomous pit viper species found in various environments throughout much of South America, with the exception of Ecuador and Chile. The most widely distributed member of its genus this species poses a serious medical problem in many parts of its range. The snake can grow to a length of almost 5 feet (1.5 m) although it can grow larger than this. This snake is also found on some islands in the Caribbean, including Morro de la Iguana, Tamarindo and Aruba. It prefers savanna, and various types of scrubland, as well as seasonal forests in the northwest of Venezuela. In the Chaco region of Paraguay, it is found in the drier, sandier areas. Bites from this snake are very serious and can result in impaired vision or complete blindness, auditory disorders, paralysis of the peripheral muscles, especially of the neck, which becomes so limp as to appear broken, and eventually life-threatening respiratory paralysis.
