Pacific Sea Nettle – Signed Fine Art Print
Information about the Pacific Sea Nettle Jellyfish:
The Pacific Sea Nettle - also called the West Coast Nettle - is a free-floating scyphozoa native to the coastal waters of the Pacific Ocean, specifically Oregon and California, although they can occasionally be found north and west of there. Like other jellyfish, Sea Nettles are carnivorous animals. They're able to catch their prey with long tentacles that hang down from the center of the bell. The toxins in their nematocysts are effective in paralyzing their prey, but it can also inflict a nasty sting to humans. It is believed their numbers are growing due to climate change, although little historical record is available to verify this. The poster is printed on matte, museum-quality paper with Giclée printing quality:

Pacific Seahorse – Signed Fine Art Print
Information about the Pacific Seahorse:
The Pacific Seahorse is a member of the order of Gasterosteiformes, which are a group of ray-finned fishes which includes the sticklebacks and relatives. It is found over a large part of the Pacific Ocean, from the coastal water of southern California, down along to Peru and as far east at the Galapagos Islands. As adults, these fish grow to about 5.1 to 12.2 inches long (13 to 31 centimeters.) Pacific Seahorses feed mostly on bottom-swarming organisms like mysids and other plankton. They do not have teeth or stomachs. Prey is consumed by a rapid snap of the head after sucking it through their long snout. Like other species of seahorses, the young actually gestate in the male's body who also gives birth to them. The poster is printed on matte, museum-quality paper with Giclée printing quality:

Pacific Walrus – Signed Fine Art Print
Information about the Pacific Walrus:
The Pacific Walrus is a pinniped and one of three sub species of walrus. They inhabit the Bering, Chukchi, and Laptev Seas. They're very large animals, with the bulls growing 10-12 feet and the cows 8-9 feet. They feed on clams, snails, crabs, shrimp and worms. Just like trees, you can tell the age of at walrus by looking at the rings in their tusks. The rest of the year (late summer and fall) the walrus tends to form massive aggregations of tens of thousands of individuals on rocky beaches or outcrops. The migration between the ice and the beach can be long distance and dramatic. In late spring and summer hundreds of thousands of these animals migrate from the Bering Sea to the Chukchi sea through the Bering Strait.
