South American Bushmaster – Signed Fine Art Print
Information about the South American Bushmaster:
The South American Bushmaster is a large venomous pitviper native to the tropical and subtropical rainforests of South America (including the island of Trinidad in the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago). Adults grow to an average of 6.5-8 feet (2-2.5 meters), but they can reach lengths up to nearly 10 feet (3 meters) It is the largest of all vipers and the longest venomous snake in the western hemisphere, although it is not the heaviest - less than some boas and rattlesnakes. The toxin is one of the most deadly of all the New World snakes, and fatalities do occur if the victim does not receive medical attention soon after being bitten. Even though the tail and colors of the bushmaster resembles that of rattlesnakes, the sound emitted by the bushmaster is quite different. Acting like a rattlesnake, the bushmaster will shake its tail rapidly when alarmed by an intruder; however, no sound is produced from this shaking from which its species name muta is derived. Instead of having a rattle on its tail to warn incomers, the bushmaster vibrates its tail across the leaves of the forest floor, creating a stirring sound comparable to that of a "rattle."The poster is printed on matte, museum-quality paper with Giclée printing quality:

South American Tapir – Signed Fine Art Print
Information about the South American Tapir:
The South American Tapir - also called the Lowland or Brazilian Tapir - is the second largest tapir on the continent, after the Baird's Tapir. They can grow to about 5.9 to 8.2 feet in length (1.8 to 2.5 m) and weigh in about 500 pounds (225 kg) These mammals inhabit jungle and forest regions, usually not far from water. They are excellent swimmers, but also move very well on land, even in rugged terrains like hills and mountains. The tapir is a herbivore. It uses its sensitive and mobile snout to get leaves, buds, shoots, and small branches that it tears from trees, fruit, grasses, and aquatic plants. It is considered endangered or vulnerable due to poaching and habitat loss. The poster is printed on matte, museum-quality paper with Giclée printing quality:

South China Tiger – Signed Fine Art Print
Information about the South China Tiger:
The South China Tiger was a species that once was native to the provinces of Fujian, Guangdong, Hunan, Jiangxi in southern China. While the species is not extinct - there are some 30 animals in captivity - it is all but sure that the tiger is extinct in the wild. Of the six subspecies of extant tiger, the South China Tiger is considered a "stem" tiger, meaning that it could be closest to where the tiger originated. While many factors contributed to the decline of the tiger, the exploitation of the species by the fur trade along with the loss of habitat in it's native range likely led to it's extirpation in the wild. While there has been aggressive conservation projects launched by the Chinese, some conservation groups have argued that the money and efforts would be better used to save the Siberian Tiger, which they consider to have a much greater chance of survival than this rare cat.The poster is printed on matte, museum-quality paper with Giclée printing quality:

Southern Alligator Lizard – Signed Fine Art Print
Information about the Southern Alligator Lizard:
Southern Alligator Lizards are native to the Pacific Coast of North America. Elgaria multicarinata, as their common name implies, are native to the grasslands, chaparral, and forests of Southern California. They're commonly found not too far from streams, ponds or other water sources. Alligator Lizards have prehensile tails, which can be dropped if attacked. It will grow back, but won't match the coloration of the body as well as the original tail. They do well in captivity and are often kept as pets.
