It's a critically endangered species - in face it is the most endangered feline on the planet - and there are many conservation groups who are working to keep the species from going extinct. According to the conservation group SOS Lynx, if this species dies out, it will be the first feline extinction since the Smilodon 10,000 years ago. The species used to be classified as a subspecies of the Eurasian lynx, but is now considered a separate species. They also feed on ibexes along with domestic animals like cow, sheep and goat (which often brings them into conflict with local farmers and shepherds) This species of wolf has come very close to extinction a few times, but conservation efforts and protection of the animal has resulted in the wolf expanding it's range. The poster is printed on matte, museum-quality paper with Giclée printing quality:

Indian Gharial Signed Fine Art Print
Information about the Indian Gharial:
The Indian Gharial is a large, semi-aquatic reptile native to the rivers and streams of the India subcontinent. They are also called the gavial or fish-eating crocodile. They are one of the longest crocodiles in the world, with adults growing to sizes of 11-15 feet (3.5-4.5 meters) with males being slightly larger. They are known for their distinctively slender snout that is thought to be an adaptation for catching fish. At one time they flourished in the major river systems of the Indian subcontinent, being found in rivers of its northern part from the Indus River in Pakistan across the Ganges floodplain to the Irrawaddy River in Myanmar. They are now gone from much of their original range, and populations have collapsed from many thousands of individuals to perhaps less than 200 in the wild. There are several captive breeding programs that are attempting to save the species, but it's future is in great doubt. The poster is printed on matte, museum-quality paper with Giclée printing quality:
