Arizona Ridge-Nosed Rattlesnake – Signed Fine Art Print

$19.95$27.95

Information about the Arizona Ridge-Nosed Rattlesnake:

The Arizona Ridge-Nosed Rattlesnake is a venomous reptile native to only a few mountain ranges in Arizona, usually only found above 5000 feet, up to about 8000 in Pine forests and cooler canyons. Generally, the snake doesn't grow larger than a few ounces and longer than 24 inches. The name comes from the snake's distinctive upturned nose. The snake feeds on small lizards, mice, and invertebrates like centipedes. They are very secretive animals, usually only active at dawn and dusk, and are therefore rarely encountered by humans. As these animals are considered threatened by the state of Arizona it is illegal to collect or kill them. They are also the official reptile of the state of Arizona. Curiously, they were the last rattlesnake to be discovered and named by herpetologists in the US. Asian Small-Clawed Otter – Signed Fine Art Print

$19.95$27.95

Information about the Asian Small-Clawed Otter:

The Asian or Oriental Small-Clawed Otter is a member of the family Mustelidae. They're native to the mangrove swamps, tidal pools and freshwater wetlands of much of Southeast Asia and southern China. Of all otter species in the world, Aonyx cinerea is the smallest of them all. Their name comes from the relatively small claws they have, which barely extend out past the pads of their paws. Like other otter species, they are highly skilled hunters and can feed upon a large variety of animals, such as crustaceans and mollusks, smaller invertebrates, amphibians and fish. They will also prey on smaller mammals and reptiles. Due to habit loss, pollutions and loss of food sources they are now considered vulnerable by some environmental organizations. (.5 to .9 kilograms) Blue Crabs are usually found in the brackish waters along the coastline, often in estuaries and other areas along shorelines.
