Costa Rican Variable Harlequin Toad – Signed Fine Art Print
Information about the Costa Rican Variable Harlequin Toad:
The Costa Rican Variable Harlequin Toad - also called the Clown Frog - is a critically endangered neo-tropical true toad from the family Bufonidae. This colorful toad was once found from Costa Rica to Panama, it now exists only in one location, near Quepos, Costa Rica. It is presumed to be extinct in Panama. The reason for it's decline is likely a combination of of variation in air temperature, precipitation, stream flow patterns, and the subsequent spread of a pathogenic chytrid fungus (Batrachochytrium dendrobatidis) thought to be linked to climate change. At one time A. zeteki (Panamanian Golden Frog ) was considered a subspecies of A. varius, but is now generally considered a separate species. This frog in the past was found on rocks and crevices alongside streams as well as humid lowland and montane forests. It rarely enters the water, except to breed. Unless there is some change in conditions for this toad, it will likely go extinct in the wild very soon. The poster is printed on matte, museum-quality paper with Giclée printing quality:

Cuban Crocodile – Signed Fine Art Print
Information about the Cuban Crocodile:
The Cuban Crocodile is a highly endangered reptile native to freshwater swamps of a very few isolated areas in Cuba's Zapata Swamp and the Isle of Youth. The characteristics of this large reptile sets it apart from the other crocodilian species, such as having bright coloration as an adult, pebbled scales and the long strong legs. They usually grow to be about 6.9–7.5 feet (2.1–2.3 meters) in length and weigh 150–180 pounds (70–80 kilograms.) While they are not nearly the largest species of crocodile, they do have the reputation as being one of the most aggressive. Crocodylus rhombifer prefers freshwater swamps, marshes and rivers, but it will occasionally swim into saltwater. It feeds on small fish, crustaceans and arthropods. Because of overhunting and habitat loss the species is considered critically endangered in the wild and it's future remains very uncertain. The poster is printed on matte, museum-quality paper with Giclée printing quality:
