Smoky Jungle Frog – Signed Fine Art Print
Information about the Smoky Jungle Frog:
The Smoky Jungle Frog is a terrestrial amphibian native to the tropical and subtropical jungles of much of Central and South America. They will also head into dry and lower montane forests. They grow to be quite large - over 7 inches long (18 cm) with the males being slightly larger than the females. They are mostly nocturnal and rarely encountered in the daytime, where they spend most of the time buried in burrows, or hiding in leaf litter or empty logs. They are opportunistic hunters, and will eat most anything they come across that is moving and will fit in their mouths; lizards, invertebrates, small birds, mammals and even other frogs. When they are threatened they will emit a loud squeal and secrete a noxious skin fluid. It's believed that their distress calls will attract caimans and other top predators of the rainforest. The poster is printed on matte, museum-quality paper with Giclée printing quality:

Snowflake Moray Eel – Signed Fine Art Print
Information about the Snowflake Moray Eel:
The Snowflake Moray Eel - also called the Clouded Moray - is a species of marine fish of the family Muraenidae. It is widespread throughout the Indo-Pacific area from the eastern coast of Africa throughout Micronesia including the Red Sea and Hawaii. The species is also found in the eastern Central Pacific from southern Baja California, Mexico, and from Costa Rica to northern Colombia. This species reaches a length of about 40 inches (100 centimeters) but its common size is about half of that. It can be found generally in coral reefs at depths of between 7 and 100 feet (2 and 30 meters.) These fish tend to do very well in captivity and are highly sought after as pets for aquariums, although care must be taken not to introduce fish or crustaceans that might be eaten by the eel, as they are formidable predators. The poster is printed on matte, museum-quality paper with Giclée printing quality:

Southern Crawfish Frog – Signed Fine Art Print
Information about the Southern Crawfish Frog:
The Southern Crawfish Frog (Rana areolata or Lithobates areolatus is a medium-sized species of frog native to the prairies and grasslands of Indiana west to Kansas, south to Texas, and east to Mississippi. It gets its name because it inhabits the burrows of crayfish for most of the year. The crawfish frog grows from 2.2 to 3.0 in (5.6 to 7.6 cm) in length. Crawfish frogs are found primarily in association with prairie or grassland habitat, though they will also make use of pastures and overgrown fields. They spend most of the year in association with a terrestrial crayfish burrow. Interestingly, this species spends a substantial amount of time active and above ground even on hot summer days, but they never stray far from their burrow which serves as an important retreat from predators, a vital source of water, an escape from grassland fires, and a means to get below the frost line during winter. Crawfish frogs feed opportunistically on insects and other small invertebrates that pass by their burrow. The crawfish frog breeds following mild, rainy weather in mid-March throughout most of its range (breeding occurs much earlier in the southern portion of its distribution). The poster is printed on matte, museum-quality paper with Giclée printing quality:

Spectacled Caiman – Signed Fine Art Print
Information about the Spectacled Caiman:
The Spectacled Caiman - also called the White Caiman or Common Caiman - is a large reptile native to the wetlands, rainforests and flooded forests of much of Central and South America. It can survive in fresh and saltwater, or a combination of the two (called brackish water) and because of this adaptability it is the most common of the crocodilian species in the world. Adult males grow to be about 5.9 to 6.6 feet (1.8 to 2 meters) weighing 15 and 88 pounds (7 and 40 kilograms.) Females are generally a little smaller. The caiman is one of the top predators in it's environment, and it will feed on insects, small invertebrates, crustaceans and mollusks when it is young, and when it grow larger it will eat fish and even mammals such as forest pigs. While the Spectacled Caiman is not considered threatened, some of the other subspecies are such as the Black Caiman. The poster is printed on matte, museum-quality paper with Giclée printing quality:

Spotted Hyena – Signed Fine Art Print
Information about the Spotted Hyena:
The Spotted or Laughing Hyena is a carnivorous mammal native to all areas of Africa south of the Sahara (except for the Congo Basin.) They live in large groups or "clans" which can number in the several dozens. While these animals are often derided as cowardly scavengers the fact is that hyenas are fearsome predators and the majority of their food comes from kills they themselves make, usually consisting of large hoofed mammals. They are considered highly intelligent with some studies indicating their social intelligence similar to some primate species.
