Saddleback Pig – Signed Fine Art Print
Information about the Saddleback Pig:
A pig is a mammal belonging to the order of Artiodactyla. It is descended from the wild boar, and has been domesticated since ancient times. It is believed that there are about 2 billion pigs on earth. Pigs are omnivorous, and will eat virtually anything that it considers edible. They find their food in part by use of their snout, which is a very sensitive organ and can find food by digging around in the soil. Pigs are ungulates, which means they are hoofed mammals. Pigs have been introduced into areas where they are not native to, and are considered invasive pests, and can wipe out indigenous species of both plant and animal. Pigs are very intelligent animals. Europeans often use pigs and their sensitive snouts to find truffles. Saiga Antelope – Signed Fine Art Print
Information about the Saiga Antelope:
The Saiga Antelope is critically endangered mammal native to the steppe zone of Eurasia. They originally inhabited a vast area from the foothills of the Carpathian Mountains and Caucasus into Dzungaria and Mongolia. Today, the nominate subspecies (S. t. tatarica) is only found in one location in Russia (steppes of the northwest Precaspian region) and three areas in Kazakhstan (the Ural, Ustiurt and Betpak-dala populations). It is extinct in China and southwestern Mongolia. Saigas form very large herds that graze in semi-deserts, steppes, grasslands and possibly open woodlands eating several species of plants, including some that are poisonous to other animals. The horn of the Saiga Antelope is used in traditional Chinese medicine, and can sell for as much as $150. Demand for the horns have wiped out the population in China. The poster is printed on matte, museum-quality paper with Giclée printing quality:

Samoyed – Signed Fine Art Print
Information about the Samoyed:
The Samoyed dog takes it's name from the Samoyedic peoples of Siberia, who are nomadic reindeer herders. These hardy people bred these distinctive white dogs to help with the herding and to pull sleds in the thick snow. These dogs are also sometimes called Bjelkier, especially in Europe. The males usually weigh about 51–66 pounds (23–30 kilograms) with the females being somewhat smaller. They have very lovely eyes, usually almond shape and black/brown in coloration - which stand out dramatically from their fluffy white coats - which are double-layered to protect them from the bitter cold of their native Siberia. While the friendly temperament of Samoyeds make them less than ideal guard dogs, it does make them excellent pets. Although when playing with children, the dogs instincts will kick in and they will attempt to herd them. Like other purebred dogs, they are susceptible to a variety of illnesses. They are fairly long lived though, usually reaching ages of 12-15 years old.The poster is printed on matte, museum-quality paper with Giclée printing quality:

Santa Cruz Island Fox – Signed Fine Art Print
Information about the Santa Cruz Island Fox:
The Santa Cruz Island Fox is one of four species of fox native to six of the eight Channel Islands off the coast of California. These foxes are all endangered or threatened, due to habitat destruction, introduction of non-native animals, and predation by Bald and Golden Eagles. These mammals are unique to the Channels Islands and live nowhere else on earth. Unlike other foxes, these canids have no natural predators so they can hunt during the day rather than the night. The poster is printed on matte, museum-quality paper with Giclée printing quality:

Short-Beaked Echidna – Signed Fine Art Print
Information about the Short-Beaked Echidna:
The Short-Beaked Echidna is one of four extant species of echidna living in various environments in Australia - in fact it is the most widespread native animal on the continent. It is the only member of the genus Tachyglossus. It is remarkable for a few reasons. The most notable is the fact that as a monotremes, it has the unusual characteristic of being one of the few egg-laying mammals in the world. Short-beaked echidnas are usually about 12-18 inches long (30 to 45 cm) with a 3 inch snout (75 mm), and weighing between 4.4-11 pounds (2 and 5 kg.) It is sometimes called a "Spiny Anteater" although it is not closely related to other anteaters in the world. When the echnida feels threatened, it will roll itself into a ball, making use of the large spines for defense. It has a sticky tongue that it uses to catch ants and termites with, which makes up most of it's diet.
