Red-Eyed Vireo – Signed Fine Art Print

$19.95$27.95

Information about the Red-Eyed Vireo:

The Red-Eyed Vireo is a small songbird native to the open woodlands, forests and brushy areas throughout much of North America. While they might resemble a warbler, they are not closely related to them. While the bird is often hidden from view in trees and bushes, their song is often heard as what seems to be a ceaseless series of calls. This bird had more songs than any other bird species, with one being recorded as having about 20,000 in one day. Red-Eyed Vireos feed on insects such as caterpillars and aphids, which they deftly pluck from trees, bushes and other plants. They will also feed on berries and fruits, which sometimes bring them into parks and backyards. This is more common behavior as the breeding season approaches. Their numbers are generally stable across their very large range and they are not considered to be vulnerable or endangered. The poster is printed on matte, museum-quality paper with Giclée printing quality: • Paper thickness: 10.3 mil • Paper weight: 5.6 oz/y² (192 g/m²) • Opacity: 94% Buy a Digital Download
