Caribbean Reef Shark – Signed Fine Art Print

$19.95$27.95

Information about the Caribbean Reef Shark:

The Caribbean Reef Shark is a species of "requiem" shark native to the tropical waters of the Western Atlantic Ocean from Florida to Brazil. They are larger sharks and can grow to nearly 10 feet long (3.2 meters) but more commonly it maxes out at about 6.5-8 feet (2-2.5 m.) It is considered an apex predator of their marine environment and feeds on nearly all available prey, such as fish and cephalopods. Normally shy or indifferent to the presence of divers, the Caribbean reef shark has been known to become aggressive in the presence of food and grows sufficiently large to be considered potentially dangerous. As of 2008, the International Shark Attack File lists 27 attacks attributable to this species, 4 of them unprovoked, and none fatal. Caribou – Signed Fine Art Print

$19.95$27.95

Information about the Caribou:

The Caribou or Reindeer is a deer species native to the arctic and sub-arctic regions. They can be found in the tundra and taiga environments. While their population are steady, there are a few sub-species that have gone extinct. Originally, the reindeer was found in Scandinavia, eastern Europe, Russia, Mongolia, and northern China north of the 50th latitude. In North America, it was found in Canada and Alaska, and the lower northern United States from Washington to Maine. Up until the 19th century, this deer was found in North America as far south as Idaho. Unlike some deer species, both sexes grow antlers. Reindeer are ruminants, having a four-chambered stomach. They mainly eat lichens in winter, especially reindeer moss. However, they also eat the leaves of willows and birches, as well as sedges and grasses. Carpenter Ant – Signed Fine Art Print

$19.95$27.95

Information about the Carpenter Ant:

Carpenter Ants are small invertebrates and members of the order Hymenoptera, which is one of the largest order of insects that includes wasps, bees and ants. There are about 130,000 indentified species in this order. They are indigenous to many different parts of the world, usually residing in dead and decaying wood to build their colonies and raise their offspring, carving out living areas in the wood, and that is where they get their common name from. However, they do not eat wood, and have little interest in healthy wood that is not in the process of rotting. They are extremely adaptable and will live in a variety of environments, often in manmade structures and are often viewed as destructive pests. Carpenter ants coloration can vary, even within the same species. But they are usually black, brown or a combination of the two.
