Arabian Leopard – Signed Fine Art Print
$19.95 – $27.95
Information about the Arabian Leopard:
The Arabian Leopard is a critically endangered feline native to the Arabian peninsula. There are estimated to just below 200 of them in the wild. There are very few in zoos around the world. It is the smallest of the leopard subspecies, with males weighing about 66 pounds (30 kg.) and females 44 pounds (20 kg.) These cats feed on a variety of prey, including gazelle, tahr, rock hyrax, hares and birds. They might also eat insects and lizards, but this hasn’t been confirmed. The Arabian leopard is threatened by habitat loss, degradation and fragmentation; prey depletion caused by unregulated hunting; trapping for the illegal wildlife trade and retaliatory killing in defense of livestock.
The poster is printed on matte, museum-quality paper with Giclée printing quality:
• Paper thickness: 10.3 mil
• Paper weight: 5.6 oz/y² (192 g/m²)
• Opacity: 94%

Artist’s notes:
The Arabian Leopard was completed on 10.2.2014. A few months ago I was researching how many subspecies of leopard there are – turns out about 9. I had drawn a couple and added a few more since then. This Arabian Leopard is the 6th of the 9, so I will likely draw the remaining species over the next few months. I love that the Arabian is especially a white leopard. The drawing is based upon several different reference photos and a working knowledge of the cat’s anatomy.
