Barking Tree Frog – Signed Fine Art Print
$19.95 – $27.95
Information about the Barking Treefrog:
The Barking Treefrog is native to the forests of the southeastern coastal areas of the US, usually near a body of water. They are one of the largest tree frogs in North America, growing to about 3 inches long. As the name indicates, they spend most of their time in trees. The “barking” comes from the low-pitched sound the frog makes during the breeding season, which some consider to be similar to the bark of a dog or the honk of a goose. This barking sound is deeper when the frogs is partially submerged.
The poster is printed on matte, museum-quality paper with Giclée printing quality:
• Paper thickness: 10.3 mil
• Paper weight: 5.6 oz/y² (192 g/m²)
• Opacity: 94%

Artist’s notes:
This Barking Tree Frog was completed on 5.20.2010. The Barking Treefrog was completed on 5.20.2010. This frog, while somewhat usual in appearance, turned out to be very challenging. Getting the texture of the skill proved pretty tough and time consuming. But I think it is one of my strongest amphibian drawings to date, so all that work paid off. The drawing is based on a photo by Jake Scott.
