Red Panda – Signed Fine Art Print

$19.95$27.95

Information about the Red Panda:

The Red Panda - also called the Firefox, Red Cat-Bear or Lesser Panda - is native to the Himalayas in Bhutan as well as south-western China. They are a little bigger than a domestic house cat. They are critically endangered and it is believed there are less than 10,00 in the wild. The Red Panda is a herbivore and, like the Giant Panda, most of it's diet consists of bamboo shoots. Despite the name it is not closely related the the Panda however. The primary threats to red pandas are direct harvest from the wild, live or dead, competition with domestic livestock resulting in habitat degradation, and deforestation resulting in habitat loss or fragmentation.

Red Wolf – Signed Fine Art Print

$19.95$27.95

Information about the Red Wolf:

The Red Wolf is a North American canid. This mammal grows to be roughly 26–31 inches (66–79 centimeters) at the shoulder with a total length of 44–65 inches (111–165 centimeters) with the tail of 12–17 in (30–43 centimeters). The body weight can range from 35 to 90 pounds (16 to 41 kilograms) but on average the wolf is about 54 pounds (24.5 kilograms) Unlike the more common Gray Wolf, Red Wolves are smaller and more slender, and are sometimes mistaken for coyotes. These animals once roamed throughout the southeastern United States. Before hunting, loss of habitat and control programs drove the Red Wolf to the brink of extinction, habitats included forests, swamps and coastal prairies. It was the apex predator of it's ecosystem, feeding on rodents, deer, rabbits and other smaller mammals.) The Red Wolf is considered critically endangered, as attempts were made to exterminate this species as the US was populated. But now there are intensive efforts to reintroduce them back into the wild in North Carolina. Saiga Antelope – Signed Fine Art Print

$19.95$27.95

Information about the Saiga Antelope:

The Saiga Antelope is critically endangered mammal native to the steppe zone of Eurasia. They originally inhabited a vast area from the foothills of the Carpathian Mountains and Caucasus into Dzungaria and Mongolia. Today, the nominate subspecies (S. t. tatarica) is only found in one location in Russia (steppes of the northwest Precaspian region) and three areas in Kazakhstan (the Ural, Ustiurt and Betpak-dala populations). It is extinct in China and southwestern Mongolia. Saigas form very large herds that graze in semi-deserts, steppes, grasslands and possibly open woodlands eating several species of plants, including some that are poisonous to other animals. The horn of the Saiga Antelope is used in traditional Chinese medicine, and can sell for as much as $150. Demand for the horns have wiped out the population in China.
