Golden Takin – Signed Fine Art Print
Information about the Golden Takin:
The Golden Takin is an endangered goat-antelope native to the Peoples Republic of China & Bhutan. Takins are adapted to staying warm and dry during winters in the Himalayan Mountain regions they inhabit. A thick, secondary coat is grown to keep out the cold. Their large, moose-like snout has large sinus cavities that warm up the air a takin inhales which prevents the loss of body heat by breathing. Although they have no skin glands, their skin secretes an oily substance that provides a water barrier that protects takins from the elements. They are around the same size as a cow and are very aggressive. Its skin is also said to be the source of the legend of the Golden Fleece. Gray Mouse Lemur – Signed Fine Art Print
Information about the Gray Mouse Lemur:
The Gray or Lesser Mouse Lemur is a small primate of the Cheirogaleidae family. As the name implies, they are very small - only weighing about 2.4 ounces (58-67 grams) but they are the largest of the mouse lemurs. Like other similar species, the Gray Mouse Lemur is nocturnal and arboreal (tree dwelling.) This primate can be found in the dry, lowland tropical forests of Madagascar. They are opportunistic feeders, and will eat various types of fruit, flowers, insects and nectar. They are hunted by snakes, owls, and other mammals. They are often taken as prey, but this is counterbalanced by the rapid reproduction rate which results in many young. The Gray Mouse Lemur's future is uncertain due to deforestation and removal of species for the illegal pet trade. Iberian Lynx – Signed Fine Art Print
Information about the Iberian Lynx:
The Iberian Lynx is a medium-sized feline native to the Iberian Peninsula in Southern Europe. It's a critically endangered species - in face it is the most endangered feline on the planet - and there are many conservation groups who are working to keep the species from going extinct. According to the conservation group SOS Lynx, if this species dies out, it will be the first feline extinction since the Smilodon 10,000 years ago. The species used to be classified as a subspecies of the Eurasian lynx, but is now considered a separate species. Both species occurred together in central Europe in the Pleistocene epoch, being separated by habitat choice. The Iberian lynx is believed to have evolved from Lynx issiodorensisThe poster is printed on matte, museum-quality paper with Giclée printing quality:

Iberian Wolf – Signed Fine Art Print
Information about the Iberian Wolf:
The Iberian Wolf is a sub-species of Gray Wolf native to the forests and open plains of northern Portugal northwestern Spain. It differs from the more common Eurasian Wolf by being thinner and having slightly different markings. The wolves live in small packs in the more remote areas of Iberian Peninsula, where they help to control the local populations of wild boar, deer and rabbit. They also feed on ibexes along with domestic animals like cow, sheep and goat (which often brings them into conflict with local farmers and shepherds) This species of wolf has come very close to extinction a few times, but conservation efforts and protection of the animal has resulted in the wolf expanding it's range. The poster is printed on matte, museum-quality paper with Giclée printing quality:
