Domestic Duck – Signed Fine Art Print

$19.95$27.95

Information about the Domestic Duck:

Domestic Ducks are descendants of common Mallards that have been bred to serve humans for eggs, meat and down from their feathers. Because they are closely related to the Mallard, they will sometime interbreed creating domestic/wild hybrid ducks. Ducks have been domesticated for thousands of years, probably beginning in Asia. They are less popular than chickens, because the duck has less white lean meat than a chicken and are more difficult to keep in a confined area. While most domestic ducks provide the farmer with various uses, they are also occasionally kept as pets. They are also commonly seen at county fairs competing against one another for ribbons. Males usually weigh about 55 pounds, and the females about 45 pounds. They are not dogs who need a lot of exercise, and are good for apartment living. Nearly all bulldogs are delivered via Caesarean section. And like other purebreds, they can have chronic health issues usually resulting in a lowered lifespan. French Bulldog – Signed Fine Art Print

$19.95$27.95

Information about the French Bulldog:

The French Bulldog (sometime called "Frenchies") is a smaller, brachycephalic breed of modern dogs. It can trace it's roots back to an ancient Greek tribe called the Molossians. The dogs were spread through the ancient world by the Phoenician traders. They were bred with smaller dogs, resulting in this "toy" bulldog breed. They were popularized by the French in the 1800's and became highly fashionable and sought after although their names were not officially changes until 1905. French Bulldogs are intelligent, very active and muscular. They are very affectionate and usually are very friendly to humans. They come in several colors, such as brindle, fawn, pied or "patches" and all white. Like many purebreds they have several potential health issues such as back and spinal ailments, as well as their shorted snouts that causes them to fall ill in very hot conditions. Despite this, they remain one of the most popular breeds in the world.

Their dense inner coat provides excellent insulation against cold water. Retrievers come in other colors too, but the Golden variety is by far the most popular and widespread. They are highly intelligent dogs, eager to please with an excellent temperament and are extremely loyal to their owners and families, making them one of the most attractive breed of dogs for pet owners. It is believed the Golden Retriever has it's origins in Scotland. The lifespan of these handsome dogs is about 11.5 years.

Great Dane – Signed Fine Art Print

$19.95$27.95

Information about the Great Dane:

The Great Dane, also called the German Mastiff or Danish Hound, is a breed of domestic dog. It is a very well known dog breed, famous for it massive size. The current world record holder, measures 44 inches (112 cm) from paw to shoulder is named "Zeus". Great Danes were originally bred to hunt deer and wild boar. The Great Dane comes in a wide variety of colors - fawn, brindle, blue, black, harlequin and mantle. Despite it's large size, the Great Dane is gentle and friendly. They do not exhibit a large prey drive and usually show little or no aggression towards other dogs. The breed originated in Germany, although there were similar looking dogs in ancient Egypt. It is likely a cross between a Mastiff and an Irish Wolf Hound. A French naturalist named Compte de Buffon first saw these impressive dogs while traveling in Denmark in the early 1700's. The breed was labeled as "le Grande Denois" or Great Dane by the naturalist, although it has no specific connection to the country. For some reason, the name stuck - although only in English.
