Javan Leopard – Signed Fine Art Print
Information about the Javan Leopard:
The Javan Leopard is a leopard subspecies confined to the Indonesian island of Java and classified as critically endangered by IUCN since 2008. The population is estimated at less than 250 mature individuals, with a decreasing population trend. They are known to occur in Gunung Halimun National Park, Ujung Kulon National Park, Gunung Gede Pangrango National Park, Ceremai National Park, Merbabu National Park, Merapi National Park, Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park, Meru Betiri National Park, Baluran National Park, and Alas Purwo National Park. They can thrive in a variety of habitats ranging from patches of dense tropical rainforest in the south-western part of the island, to the mountains, and to dry deciduous forests and scrub in the east. In the 1990s, they seemed to particularly thrive in the seral stages of successional vegetation patterns, which made them less susceptible than many other mammals to human's disruptive activities. The poster is printed on matte, museum-quality paper with Giclée printing quality:

Javan Rhinoceros – Signed Fine Art Print
Information about the Javan Rhinoceros:
The Javan or Sunda Rhinoceros is one of only 5 extant species of rhinoceros. Of these this animal is thought to be the most rare. Once the most widespread of the Asian rhinos, hunting, wars and habitat loss have reduced their numbers to a handful, and only by extensive conservation efforts has the species been saved - at least temporarily - from extinction. There are no known species living in any of the world's zoos. These large land animals traditionally inhabited lowland rainforest, wet grasslands and flood plains. Jefferson’s Ground Sloth – Signed Fine Art Print
Information about the Jefferson's Ground Sloth:
The Jefferson's Ground Sloth is an extinct mammal that was native to much of the North American continent. IT is believed to have lived from roughly 15,000 BP to 10,000 BCE. It is one of several species of giant sloth that roamed both North and South America, until a series of environmental pressures forced all but a few species into extinction. The name "Megalonyx" was suggested by Thomas Jefferson, who would eventually become the president of the US. Jefferson's Ground Sloth grew to be 8 to 10 feet long (2.5–3 meters) and had the widest range of the extinct giant sloths. Jerusalem Cricket – Signed Fine Art Print
Information about the Jerusalem Cricket:
Jerusalem Crickets - also called 'Potato Bugs - are large, flightless insects of the of the genus Stenopelmatus. Ironically, they are not native to Jerusalem and they do not feed on potatoes. It's thought their odd name comes from a combination of Navajo and Christian terminology. Despite their appearance they are not venomous or dangerous, but when handled or threatened they can bite and/or emit a foul odor. Unlike some other crickets they do not chirp, but a few of the genus can produce a rasping sound by rubbing their legs against the sides of their abdomen.
