Boston Terrier – Signed Fine Art Print
$19.95 – $27.95
Information about the Boston Terrier:
The Boston Terrier is a breed of dog developed in the United States. It is sometimes called the “American Gentleman” and is an officially recognized breed by the American Kennel Club, and has been since 1893. It is believed that the dog’s heritage can be traced back to a man named Robert C. Hooper, who purchased a dog that was a mix of a Bull and Terrier. That dog’s offspring was bred with French Bulldogs. Those dogs became very popular in the Boston area, and a group was formed called the American Bull Terrier Club. It was later changed to the Boston Terrier Club. The Boston Terrier was the first non-sporting dog bred in the US. It is highly intelligent, very trainable and affectionate, making it one of the most popular breeds in the US. The breed is the official dog of the state of Massachusetts.

Artist’s notes:
The Boston Terrier was completed on 3.7.2013. There are few dog breed I enjoy interacting with than the Boston Terrier. The ones I have met are always so friendly and anxious to interact with humans. They are also one of the cutest dogs breeds. Several of my friends own one or two, and I’ve been told once you have one you will always want one. Although there are a couple different color of Bostons, I decided to go with the standard common black and white coat.
