Artist’s notes:
The line art version of the Burmese Python was completed in 2004 and the digital tinting added in 2007. The coloration of these serpents is amazing, and I’ve been told I took some liberties in the intensity of the colors. But for anyone who has seen these impressive snakes in the flesh, should know they simply are as beautiful as this. The drawing is based on a photo by the talented wildlife photographer Pete Carmichael.
