Artist’s notes:
One of the best moments I have had while living in California is seeing Sea Otters off the coast in Big Sur. They’re so much fun to watch floating on their backs in the kelp beds, then quickly turning tail and submerging to look for food. I hope we are able to stabilize their populations so future generations will be able to marvel at these amazing animals. NOTE: The drawing was re-created on 7.5.2016.
