Artist’s notes:
The Spanish Shawl Nudibranch was completed on 12.3.10. These animals are fairly new to me, so I have a lot to learn about them. I’ve come across a couple in tidal pools, and hopefully will find them when I go diving in the kelp forests this year. Their colors are amazing and I’ll probably add more to the image library fairly soon. The drawing is based on a photo by Gary McDonald.
