Information about the Indochinese Leopard:
The Indochinese Leopard is a subspecies of leopard native to mainland Southeast Asia and southern China. In Indochina, leopards are rare outside protected areas and threatened by habitat loss due to deforestation as well as poaching for the illegal wildlife trade. The trend of the population is suspected to be decreasing.

Artist’s notes:
The Indochinese Leopard was completed in the summer of 2015. This was one of the last subspecies of Panthera Pardus I had to draw in order to complete all a collage of all extant species. The pose of the animal is based upon several different reference photos, as this is a very rare animal and I had no choice but to use them.
