Artist’s notes:
The Tokay Gecko was completed on 8.2.09. This was a fun drawing from beginning to end. These little lizards have got so much character and the Tokay’s pattern so beautiful my only concern was not capturing the texture and being true to the reptile’s patterns. I believe I got both right. The drawing is based on a photo by Andrew Hoffman.
