Blackburnian Warbler – Signed Fine Art Print
$19.95 – $27.95
Information about the Blackburnian Warbler:
The Blackburnian Warbler is a small New World songbird. They are found in breeding season in the eastern United States and Canada, and winter in the tropical forests of northern South America. They are about 4.3-5.1 inches long (11-13 cm) with a wingspan of 7.9-8.7 inches (20-22 cm.) These birds are mostly solitary, except during breeding season. The males will fiercely defend their territory. They are sometimes found in the company of other bird species, such as chickadees, kinglets and nuthatches. Generally, they are insectivorous, feeding on insects and other small invertebrates they find in the trees, but during the winter they will supplement their diets with berries.
The poster is printed on matte, museum-quality paper with Giclée printing quality:

Artist’s notes:
The Blackburnian Warbler illustration was completed on 2.22.2014. There are some birds I see that I know in an instant I have to drawn an illustration of one. There are several species of New World warblers I’ve completed drawings of, so I believe I’ll draw one more species and then make a collage of them. The drawing is based on photo by Jim Cummings and was used with permission.
