Description

Fine art illustration of an American Redstart (Setophaga ruticilla.)

Artist’s notes:

The American Redstart illustration was commissioned by Stackpole Books for Laura Erickson’s 101 Ways to Help Birds. The line art version was completed in 2005 and the digital tinting added in 2007. The Redstart is one of those wonderful songbirds I didn’t know about until I was commissioned to draw one.
